The YPSC was launched in January 18, 2019, Amman, Jordan under the World Bank’s initiative of Bringing Back Businesses in Yemen. The members formulated a policy memo, highlighting their role in decision making within the humanitarian, development and R&R efforts, which includes:
- Engaging the private sector in economic policy-making.
- Enhancing the role of the private sector in humanitarian and development efforts.
- Engaging the private sector in recovery and reconstruction programs and efforts.
