Drawing solutions to solve the fiscal and banking system in Yemen

The YPSC members including the chamber of commerce, Federation of chambers, bank and exchangers association met with the EU, French and Dutch Ambassadors and CBY governor – Sana’a in January 20, 2020.  SMEPS has supported in facilitating the meeting requested by the EU to meet representatives of the CBY and the YPSC. Throughout the meeting, the members discussed the main economic issues facing the private sector including the fiscal and banking system, money exchangers. They also discussed the proposed ways to support the CBY operations and assistance needed to build CBY capacities.
